Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 7:52PM ... A few years ago I was staying in Venice but as time was short, I didnt make it to see both Murano and Burano. All this time I kept seeing photographs of this stunning place and wishing I could come here again. Last weekend, Phil and I took a trip to Venice to celebrate my birthday and experience the famous Carnival (we also got engaged, it was a total surprise, and I, of course, said yes!).
... A day after our engagement, we took a day trip to see the incredible glass blowers of Murano and the unique streets and canals of Burano. Praying that my almost-dead and only battery on the 5DMKII would last until the end of the day, I joined the masses of photographers along the colourful streets! Enjoy the pics...
